Building Information Modelling

See your building before it is built, and follow it after

Every Geoplat design and build runs on one coordinated BIM model. Clashes are resolved on screen, quantities come straight from the model, and you follow the project live in your client portal.

One model, every stage

3D: the building

Turn the model, view it floor by floor and cut through it. Tap any column, beam, wall or window to see what it is.

4D: the schedule

Watch the building rise stage by stage, or check where the site is today.

5D: the money

See the budget, the value of work done and money spent, task by task.

6D: sustainability

See the sustainability features designed into the building.

7D: after handover

Equipment, warranties and service dates stay linked to the model for as long as you own the building.

Fewer surprises on site

Clashes found on screen

Architectural, structural and MEP designs are modelled together, so a beam through a duct is fixed in the model, not by breaking work on site.

Quantities from the model

Bills of quantities come straight from the model, so the budget matches what is drawn.

Set out from survey control

The model sits on our survey of the site, and construction is set out from the same control.

Live in your client portal

Ideal for private owners, including clients abroad, developers, schools and industry.

Nothing to install

Open the model in any phone or computer browser.

Progress at a glance

Built work shows in model colours, work in progress in orange and future work faded. Our engineers post site updates with photos.

Private to you

Only you and Geoplat staff can see your project.

Questions clients ask

What is BIM?

Building Information Modelling is a 3D model of the building in which every part carries information: what it is, when it is built and what it costs. It keeps the design team, the site and the client working from the same picture.

Do I need special software to see my model?

No. Your model opens in your Geoplat client portal in any phone or computer browser, with nothing to install.

What do 4D, 5D, 6D and 7D mean?

They add information to the 3D model: 4D is the construction schedule, 5D is the budget and spending, 6D is sustainability features, and 7D is the equipment, warranty and service record after handover.

Can I follow construction without visiting the site?

Yes. The model shows what has been built, what is in progress and what is still to come, and our engineers post site updates with photos.

Who can see my BIM model?

Only you and Geoplat staff. Each account sees only its own projects.
